The Midwest Prostate Cancer Detection Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit service organization dedicated to the early detection of prostate cancer.

Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin are the MPCDF’s exclusive medical sponsor, acting in an advisory
capacity to ensure current screening and diagnostic practices and guidelines are followed.
William See, MD, a Medical College of Wisconsin urologic oncologist and chair of Urology practices at Froedtert
& The Medical College’s Clinical Cancer Center, specializing in prostate and other urologic cancers. Dr. See
serves as an advisor to MPCDF. “One in six men will be diagnosed with cancer during his lifetime, and early
detection is the key to beating this disease,” See said. “The POP clinic makes it easy to get checked by
bringing the doctor to the man.”

POP - Prostate on-site project
“POP”, or Prostate On-Site Project, is a mobile medical screening unit that travels throughout the Midwest. It offers prostate exams for the early detection of prostate cancer. This mobile screening facility is a unit designed for use by phlebotomists and doctors who perform prostate exams at work sites or other public locations. “The Drive for Prostate Health” is now on the move to new states! You can help us reach our goal of going nationwide! Please if you would like to “Drive Prostate Health” in your state!

Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in men. However, if prostate
cancer is caught in the early stages, there is almost a 100% chance of survival. The key
to beating this disease is awareness and early detection.
